I may be in the smallest of minorities, but I like Liza Minelli. She was great in Arthur among all that banal silliness (which I loved).
President Bush seems sharper now for some reason. Maybe returning the partisan fire gets him fired up.
Colorado's football program is a disaster in every way. Is the administration avoiding the blame?
Richard Nixon had a dirty tricks team. Now it seems the Democrats have created a culture that encourages it...from the humiiliating Dan Rather episode to leaking of carefully chosen snippets of classified information (a felony) to Hilary's team smearing her husbands victims. They've picked up the Nixon baton and are running fast towards that stained goal. Remind me to send a Nixon bust to the DNC.
I saw a few minutes of Katie Couric on the CBS evening news. She wasn't bad, but the writing was as slanted as ever. Man, they hate Republicans over there.
USA Today's crosswords on-line are another example of how great it is to live in this country.
Zawahiri released a video calling Bush a liar. Who is he talking to? And Chavez called Bush the devil. If these guys keep it up, Bush will get a 3rd term. Seriously, it's getting harder and harder to distinguish the quotes of the enemies of America from the quotes of the left in America.
I absolutely love baseball. But it's too slow to watch on television. Due to our kids growing up with multiple fast-paced inputs, baseball is poorly positioned to capture the next generation of viewers.
I don't drink. I certainly don't mind people who do. But I've noticed that for some people, every conversation at a social occasion eventually turns to alcohol. Seems like a crutch.
I think Mitt Romney will be our next Republican President. Either elected in 2008 or in 2012 if a Democrat wins in 2008.
It is tougher for kids to grow up today. With sex and drugs fed to them on a daily basis through the media and their friends. But the most pathetic to me are the parents who live vicariously through their kids, encouraging sexual "freedom" - overtly or not - and turning a blind eye to habits that will damage their kids for years to come.
