Unemployment drops to 4.4%.  Lowest in five years.  Approaching max employment without igniting inflation.

Hours worked were higher than forecast.  Last months job growth was undersetimated in last month's report.

Where are the people who told us George Bush ruined the economy?

The ones who predicted trillion dollar annual deficits by now without even factoring in the enormous Medicare spending bill?  Or Iraq?  Or Katrina?

You see, they got their calculators out and subracted the tax dollars from the general fund and then.....they quit.  They didn't account for any (ANY) growth from the tax cuts.  Even though it's happened over and over and over.

So, I'd like to see them defend their failed predictions.  I'd like to see them held accountable for being economically incompetent.

The Bush economy has overcome Katrina, September 11th, massive Clinton-era fraud on Wall Street, the tech bubble, the war, the housing "bust", the energy crisis, the mortgage crisis and.....

....it's soaring.

Those who said it would not grow with the tax cuts weren't just wrong.  They were deceitful.  Or unteachable.

Certainly untrustworthy. 

Lets' remember that when tax increases come up this summer in Congress.

Jimmy Carter screwing up everything imaginable in Iran, not to mention domestic inanity.

Now we have Nancy Pelosi visiting Syria against the White House and State Department (and any intelligent human being's) objections.  WHAT?!?!?!

What is she doing??  Negotiating something around the constitutionally authorized White House?  Telling them that Democrats won't be so hard on their terroristic activities?  Apologizing for making them leave Lebanon where they killed the Lebanese Prime Minister????

Maybe she's thanking them for only blowing up some of our soldiers and only funding some of the civil war that's slaughtering innocent families in Iraq.

Has she forgotten that no one outside of the most liberal city in America voted for her for anything at all?  Much less President???

One thing is consistently true.  Democrats aren't fit to lead.

As a big orange fan, it's with mixed feelings that I honor the beast of the east (SEC East, that is).  Measured success against these guys is pretty satisfying, because the Gators are clearly....

THE TEAM OF THE DECADE

Next year there will be fewer superstars and probably a new head coach.  It will still be outstanding b-ball in Gainesville, but these are the days that will be talked about for the rest of Gator-faithful's lives.

Congratulations on a huge accomplishment.  Others will be measured against it. 

And will likely fall short.
