Liberals in the blogosphere and over the airwaves are fighting mad. They are in a righteous rage over the pardon given by the President.
What they say: No one who commits perjury before a grand jury should be pardoned
The truth: Bill Clinton committed perjury before a grand jury
What they say: " "This commutation sends the clear signal that in this administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice.” (Hillary Clinton)
The truth: Bill pardoned 16 terrorist bombers from FALN - who killed six and bombed 130 sites in America. Here's a quote from a man who's father was murdered in one of those bombs:
“The Clinton family traded the release of terrorists for votes, votes that were promised to be delivered by New York politicians to Hillary for senate and Gore for president. That was clear.”
What they say: "This administration lies and lies"
The truth: Hillary claimed her brother wasn't paid for lobbying successfully for the pardon of close Clinton associates who had defrauded a federal bank. A Congressional investigation found differently and now a federal bankruptcy court is about to rule in the matter of the $100,000 he received.
More Clinton lies: (directly from the Morris article - this is blatant lying from Hillary)
"Although the commutations were opposed by the FBI and the Clinton Justice Department, Bill Clinton granted them to all 16 terrorists. Once again, Hillary claimed to have “no involvement in or prior knowledge of the decision.” Her statement is ridiculous. Two days before the announcement of the pardons, New York City Councilman Jose Rivera personally presented Hillary with a packet of materials including a letter asking her to “speak to the president and ask him to consider granting executive clemency to the prisoners.” What a coincidence — the sentences were immediately commuted!"
Do we really need to spend any more time outlining their dreadful, immoral, dishonest, abuse-of-power history? I suppose the left will continue to have to be reminded, so here's more:
More ugly truth: The pardon of Marc Rich was paid for by major donations to the Democratic Party and the Clinton library by his wife. With his money. Do you know where the money came from? Marc Rich traded for oil with Iran while they were enemy #1 of America and it was notably illegal and immoral to do it. Then he hid the transactions and $100,000,000 in profits from the IRS. Then he renounced his American citizenship.
Then the Clintons pardoned him.
More ugly truth: The Clinton's brother Roger was paid by fellow felons to pursue pardons. Somehow this fell through. But as the above atests, it surely wasn't on principle.
The bottom line is this. Those who are screaming loudest have sold their integrity and become noisy, worthless gongs in this political debate. They've proven they have no objectivity or even an awareness of truth. Like so many others, they've become permanently stained by the Clintons (no dress jokes here).
As for Scooter Libby, if he did the crime, he should do the time.
But, my hysterical, religious-left friends, save your hypocrtiical self-righteous blather. You've got blood all over your hands.
